If there is a country that really needs nuclear energy, it is India. After all, they have a large number of women and children dying each year from the effects of renewable bio-fuel (dung fueled stoves). Nuclear power could save thousands, if not millions of lives each year.
And since they have so much Thorium, you'd think they would be going all out for Liquid Fluoride Thorium Recyclers. Yet when they had a conference on that subject in January 2013, there was apparently NO coverage in the press what-so-ever. Too bad.
